Our Wedding

Nick and Christina's story began over 25 years ago, through a chance encounter on a night out in Sacramento. They never could have forseen their friendship spanning the decades, or leading to this moment! Life took them in different directions, and down different paths, through the highs and lows that make us who we are. Somehow, through it all, they remained friends. A quiet constant in one anothers lives. Years later, with the wisdom of experience and open hearts, they took a chance. It wasn't the beginning of a story, but a new chapter, one made beautiful by time. Nick and Christina are polar opposites in the best way, like salt and caramel! He's thoughtful and steady, she is passionate and serious. Together, they're better. Together, they just fit. Nick proposed on the beach in Maui, in front of Mama's Fish House (iykyk). Christina remembers the moment clearly, not just for the waves or sunset or island breeze, but because how visibly nervous Nick had been that whole day! Good thing his nerves didn't realize that the entire restaurant had a view of that moment! They now embrace their beautiful, blended family and a second chance at a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love. It’s a love that’s true, evolving, and deeply real—proof that sometimes, the best things in life come not when you want them, but when the time is finally right.

If flying, Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is super close to the venue. We reccomend using Uber or Lyft, depending on the time it should be around 30 minutes to Midtown Sacramento and run around $40. The adjacent carriage house was built in 1889, and is one of the most beautiful locations in the Greater Sacramento area.
